IntenseDebate and WordPress 2.8 Do Not Play Nice Together

intensedebate-logoIf you are using IntenseDebate for your comments you may want to hold off on upgrading to WordPress 2.8 at least until tomorrow.

The IntenseDebate plugin breaks the administration pages in my WordPress 2.8 install (works well in the public blog, but it renders the admin unusable). Is there a fix? Specifically, most of the javascript of the admin pages doesn’t work anymore when the plugin is activated.

beaulebens promises to have a fix out by tomorrow morning.

Just letting you all know that I’ve found a fix for this, I’m just doing some more testing before releasing an update of the plugin that rolls this and some other updates into one, rather than make you all update again in a few days. I’ll probably upload the new version tomorrow morning (Pacific time, US)

Did you ever find what you were looking for? I'm not sure if you're still looking for a solution but I'd recommend Disqus over IntenseDebate. You can check it out at http://disqus.com
