Mouse Button Issues Fixed in Chrome Release?

by James on November 6, 2008

One of the known issues for Google Chrome seems to have been resolved.  For some reason the forward and back buttons on a mouse would not work while using Chrome, this seems to have been addressed in the latest release.

I was browsing and needed to go back and out of habit I clicked the back button on my mouse.  To my surprise it worked.  After testing it out a bit and testing the forward button it doesn’t seem to be a fluke.

There’s nothing specific about it on their release blog but nonetheless, they are definitely working.

Also, I’m not positive but it seems that their contextual menus have beefed up a little too.
