Yes, I know it’s only the House of Representatives and that the bill still needs to make it through Congress, but it’s an historic vote nonetheless. No other such “sweeping” health care reform has made it this far. But to devote more real estate to a woman that lost 71 pounds? Seriously, that’s just ludicrous. WTF CNN?
Al Franken completely destroys this woman from the Hudson Institute, a health-care-lobby shill, who is trying to scare people into believing that health care reform will lead to medical bankruptcies which is not only false, it’s backwards.
You know what I love about this the most? Well, the fact that I made the exact same argument on my radio show two weeks ago, but besides that, I love that this is what happens when you get someone who is an informed, well intended citizen in Washington rather than a House full of corporate shills.
